The perfect complement to sustainability and ecology is value creation. For our customers, this is a win-win all along the line - by using our treatment process, the plant pays for itself within a very short time, resources are recovered and can be used as fertiliser and fuel, and the nice thing is that the low emissions from the various process steps contribute significantly to climate improvement.

The values of sustainability and environmental protection are not only implemented and lived in our developed RSR process, but also in the everyday life of the company. This results in motivated employees who identify with the corporate philosophy and play a significant role in shaping it. HISTORY

FOUNDING

Green Sentinel GmbH was founded by Daniel Scheiböck-Ortner on 1 August 2020. The company deals with the processing of sewage sludge.

In the process, valuable substances, such as phosphorus, are recovered and a thermally usable product is generated from the remainder. This conversion process is convincing in all respects due to its sustainability - the ecological footprint is significantly reduced and the economic value for sewage plant operators is maximised, as expensive disposal costs are eliminated.

Greenstart awards Green Sentinel as ecological pioneer

The unique digestion process of municipal sewage sludge convinced the jury at the Greenstart Award. This process transforms the otherwise expensive disposal of sewage sludge for water treatment plants into a lucrative business model. At the same time, the ecological footprint is significantly reduced and valuable raw materials such as phosphorus are recovered. The valuable end product is a purified biofuel, comparable to pellets, which, through clean combustion, harnesses the greatest potential of sludge in a climate-friendly way: thermal energy.

Green Sentinel can rightly call itself a greenstart 2020 company.

EDISON AWARD RECEIVED IN SILVER

The Edison Prize is awarded annually to the most innovative business ideas. A jury judges the novelty, economic efficiency and creativity of the submission. The RSR process developed for processing municipal sewage sludge into valuable resources impressed the jury and was rewarded with 2nd place, the Edison Prize in silver.
